The rifle in question is a fairly new, with no alterations of any kind. Freedom Munitions is a stand up company with superb customer service. I have had no other factory ammunition problems using these particular 20 round magazines. I tried this again and had the same result. It was pristine before I chambered it into the rifle. The bullet head was deformed and scratched up. To my surprise, the bullet head had been pushed all the way back into the cartridge casing. Something did not feel right, so I removed the magazine, opened the bolt, and removed the chambered round. The bolt was to the rear in the action, I hit the side release button and the bolt ran forward partway, then went home. I was at the range with a Colt manufactured AR-15A4 and had inserted a 20 round metal magazine loaded with 16 rounds of new Perfecta factory loaded 55 grn. in anything other than a bolt action rifle. Just a recent event to explain why I will not shoot Perfecta. Don’t ask me how two bullets can end up in the same case, I’m just relaying the story.
